I ran 10w-30 Mobile 1 and at 2500 miles I was 2 quarts low. I do run my car car hard 2 days a week but this is insane it costs me like 60 bucks to do an oil change. I put in 15w-50 Mobile 1 this time, do you all think that is too thick?

beleive it or not all car manufacturers recommend putting in 1 quart of oil every 1000 miles (even if its a TA or Lexus). if youve done some mods, maybe it requires more.
