Angry problems with turn signal

well like the title said my turn signal won't work. I know it is a dual filament bulb and have replaced the front and rear and side markers. I have also changed fuses and it still doesn't work. when I turn my car on the light won't work in the front, but as soon as I turn on the headlights it will turn on, but not blink.

It is driving me crazy, anyone have any ideas? relays maybe

concerning the turning signal light, when you hit the brake lights, do those lights work?

change your daytime running lights bulb

When i turned my headlights on, DRL would come on, but if i hit the turn signal, they turned off. I changed the DRL bulb and it fixed the problem.

I have changed every bulb on the right side of my car, and changed the fuses. It still isn't working right.

OK dumb question....which is the DRL bulb? Aren't they the same as the head lamp bulb? I'm having similier issues with mine right now and it's driving me nuts as well.

the DRL bulb is the amber turn signal in the front of the car. It is a dual filiment bulb. I am going to be calling GM tomorrow to see what they say. Most likely it will be bring it in so we can look at it. They will never see my car though.

to replace the DRL, easiest way i found was to unscrew the plastic cover under the front bumper and reach up and pull the socket apart... i have skinny arms tho :p

have you tried replacing the flasher relay underneath the dash? if not go to autozone, pick one up for a few bucks and swap it out. first thing i had to do with my camaro. neither turn signal worked and instead of changing bulbs i replaced the relay. easy fix

where exactly is the flasher relay? I am now willing to try just about anything. It worked fine this morning for a couple of turns then it wouldn't work. seems like a ground to me now.

i had the same problem on my T/A i went through a ton of bulbs before i found on here that you can look at the socket that the bulb goes into and see if it is coroded or not. if there is anydirt or corosion in the socket then take a wire brush or a sand paper and carefully clean it out then replace your bulb and give it a shot. the reason your lights come on with your headlights is because of the dual filiment part of the bulb. try that and see how it works if not then i don't know.
