Help!! PS fluid leaking into coolant:
The only possible way that could happen would be if you have a power steering cooler and something in it is leaking. I would think coolant would be showing up in your PS though.

your power steering cooler is leaking. Its the metal "insert" in your radiator hose at the front of the engine, with lines running to the PS pump area. Should be easy enough to figure out by following the lines from the pump to the radiator hose. They spring leaks internally and leak into the coolant (the coolant is used to cool the PS fluid). Sounds like its time for a new cooler.

Yes, it can get quite hot. Many guys found that in a 50 second autocross run, they could boil the fluid. Even though it's an autocross, it's only 50 seconds of running. These cars really do like to have a cooler on them.

the gm pump is ok....but alot of guys when they have to get a new one will go with a aftermarket pump....i believe 1 turn (could be wrong) is a aftermarket pump thats pretty good, theres also redline fluid that will hold up a bit better

if there was a major concern of power steering fluid boiling, coolers would have been put on all f-bodies not just the ss and ws6 models. i think the only way to boil the fluid is by autocrossing, just normal driving shouldnt cause it to get that hot.

runns $150 at the dealer and online i found it at a dealer for $88
Mine just **** the bed and I think I am going to remove it for a aftermarket one that will mount infront of the ac condenser and cool better.
The coolers run 25-50 and a new hose is 15 total of 40-65
and I will never have to worry about the fluids mixing.

the power steering cooler is in the pipe that is part of the upper radiator hose system. replace the cooler/pipe, flush both systems (PS and coolant) and make sure you remove and clean the coolant low sensor just below the radiator cap. the contaminated sensor can/will give you a false low coolant light. clean the crap off of it and it should be fine. the leak will eventually get worse and you will lose all PS fluid within a few miles. not good.
