Do you have pics of cracked blocks?

Needing some common places or ideas of where to look for a crack in the LS1 block. Pictures would be very much appreciated. Thx!

search would probably be your best bet for pics.......

look for cracks near the coolant tubes in between the cyl. walls....this is one of the weaker spots on the blocks...along with one of the thinner areas...

mine cracked starting at the oil galley plug above the oil filter...no pics

I did search and could only come up with one good post that didn't have very good pics.
