Default can I remove bracket and window motor at same time?

Can I remove bracket and motor at same time or is this a no no .
It seems it would be easier than hunting for rivets and drilling.
Please help!

It's easier just drilling the rivets - they're soft and don't take much. If you're using shoebox's guide print out the rivet location pic and bring it out to the car to help locate them, that's what I did and got the right spots the first time.
