When I get up to about 75-80mph I feel a vibration in the gas pedal. I cant feel the car vibrate just in the pedal. What could it be?

I get it if im goin around 60ish-70ish. At certain points it will smooth out but then return. It also gets bad if im crusin and moderately accelerate. Under WOT I dont feel it

Sounds very much like what i have noticed in my car. I notice it when its 45 or below outside. When I am cruising at a steady speed say 35, I feel a vibration in the gas pedal as well, but under1/2 or more throttle I don't feel it. I also notice I never feel it when its warm outside.

Does your converter have lockup? If so, when is it set to lock up? The vibration you are feeling could be that it's trying to lock up but can't and that will cause a vibration. That was a problem I was chasing in my Syclone with similar symptoms. Might wanna check it out.

my converter locks up once I am in fourth gear. It does lock up, but I only feel the vibration when it is locked up. Around 70mph is when it starts.

I think me and you are in the same boat...and I still have my stock converter.

Does yours do it when you get up to say 70ish and get off the gas and just let it coast/slow down without hitting the breaks?

yes, in fact it vibrates more when I let off at 70-80mph. I think we both have the same problem.

my buddy said he had the same thing. His U joints were bad. Whenever I get a chance we are going to switch out my driveshaft and u joints. Hopefully it will fix this.

Yeah I figure it would be from u joints or an out of balance driveshaft. If the vibration is worse when you let off, then it isn't the tc. The converter should unlock when you let off. I bet it vibrates more when it's locked because it is putting more load on the driveshaft.
