sea foam help
i put sea foam in my car according to the directions. but when i put it in the booster line, before i was even through the first third i had flames inside the funnel. has anyone experienced this? will it hurt my car when i go to drive it around? also it says when you put it in it should cause your car to stall but mine revved up. whats the deal? any help would be great. thanks

Ok let me make sure of something here...
You removed the booster line from the brake booster. This should be the line going back into the intake.
I have never seen flames and I have seafoamed my car at least twice a year for the last two or three years.

i think it might have something to do with the fact that i had just put seafoam in the gas tank so the funnel might have had some gas on it. and yes it was the brake booster line going into the intake.

Static electrictiy is generated around the opening of vacuum hoses. For example, this is the main reason why you should never vacuum dust out of computers or electronic devices. So, my theory is that there may have been a static spark that ignited the Seafoam entering the hose.

hopefully everything is ok....and your car will rev up when you insert the foam into the brake booster hose b/c think about what your doing you are messing with the vaccum leak while pouring liquid into the vaccum hose your idle will be all over the place!!!! and when you get through to the end and go to choke the motor out when you pour the last bit in if the motor doesnt die run and turn off the car manually!!!!
