Default Psi To Compression Conversion

Does anybody know of an easy way to get a round about idea of a motors compressio(9:1 10:1 etc..) based off the PSI reading you get from a cranking compression test. I ask this because my friend just got a 5.0 stang that is a 347 with AFR heads and notched pistons but the owner had he bought it from didn't know any of the specs of the internals. And we where wanting to get an idea of the motors compression.

now that i think about it I doubt there will be a one for all cinverison fromula since the two variable will not multiply linear. does anybody know waht 150 psi would come out to be

Or..you could have a compression test ran on it and give you better results. Proably could find one at a local dealer for cheap.

we've already ran a compression test and a leak down test. all the cylinders are within about 7 psi pf each other. just wanted to get a ballpark idea of the compression for what type of gas to run how much timing and it would affect our thoughts about spraying it.
