Default loud thump coming from rear of car

Hey guys,

I tried my hardest to search this issue but I didnt find much, hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about.

My car makes a loud thumping noise coming from somewhere in the rear when I get on it from a stand-still. It sounds like its coming from the right rear wheel maybe hitting the bump stops or something smaking the underbody. My car is dropped and I'm thinking that relocation brackets may fix the problem. This is only an assumption but if anyone has any ideas or suggestions please feel free to fill me in.

i know that recently my coil spring has become completely dislocated from the right rear side of my car... may seem like a bogus idea but you could take off the tire or look through it and see if anything near the coil is rubbing or clanking from the back.. or it could just be a loose bolt

i know this may sound totally bogus but my buddy's TA whenever he gets on it, the Y-pipe hits the frame and makes a metal on metal contact, totally un-suspension related but just an idea.

1. do u have any squeaks coming from the side that the thump is coming from.
2. there is prob nothing left of your bump stop.

i just got my **** lowered and had a hellacious squeak comin from the back left and that was the one that was thumpin when i would go over a bump. i found out i had a bad shock, got it replaced and the squeak is gone but when it was in the air i check the bump stops and there is nothing left of the back left and that is causing the thump cause there is no rubber stopper to pad it. im gonna replace them both cause the right rear is just about gone to.

Well i figured my problem out(well Ron did)...It was my front tourqe arm bolt. It had somehow worked its way loose. No more thumpin and i can slam gears once again. you might want to check on that to see if its your problem
