Timing belt? On an LS1? You must be referring to your daily driver Civic I'm guessing.

And why would you 'flush' the AC system?

I would not worry about the timming chain. Change the fuel filter, spark plugs & wires. Flush & refill the coolant with Dexcool.

It's also a good idea to flush the brake system and cluch system (If you have a manual transmission) since with time, brake fluid attracts moisture and turns to mud then starts corroding components. Pressure bleeding is by far the best way to do this.

Not really. Might wanna do the spark plugs every 25,000, its easy, cheap and there ain't no way on gods green earth they last anyway near 100,000 miles with any kind of efficiency left in them. Have fun driving.

thanks for all of that, and I was just worried cause it seemed like doing an oil filter and change every 3k miles was not enough idk i guess i dont have as much faith in engines. But i mean i got 36,000 miles right now and im gona change the plugs at 40k i think but i really don't know what else to do till around 60 and 100k besides tire rotations and inspecting things every now and then

Oil I go every 4k synthetic

Tranny/rear end 20-30,000 depending on driving

Radiator/power steering 50,000

brakes 50,000

clutch 25,000

Plugs/wires 25-30,000

Air/fuel filter 10-15,000

This is just a good ballpark but honeslty i've only put 30k on my car and have changed every fluid in my car atleast twice.

Brakes depends on what you do with the car. I autox so I change it out every year, same with PS fluid (turkey baster anyway). Same with clutch, racing is hard in the fluid. Plugs are every 10-15K for me, air filter when it looks dirty (twice a year?). I've changed the rear fluid 3 times in 55K and tranny fluid twice. Oil is obvious. Run your air once every couple of months. Flush the radiator every 50K, I've done mine 3 times but due to new motors...

Lube the chassis. A lot of people who change their own oil neglect this.
