o2's keep goin out... So it seems anytime I have to drive my car in the rain, and I go through a puddle, it kills the sensor on that side of the car. I'm running the Bosch 13111 sensor. I burned one out again and this time its causing a lean issue and it really has me pissed off. These sensors have worked fine until the rainy season came around.
Anybody have/had this problem? I'm thinking about going back to the stock sensor and seeing how that works out, but that's going to be a $160 conversion, (sensors and extensions) so I'm not too anxious to go that route if someone has an easier solution for me.

The Bosch 13111 costs ~$45 a piece, and the stocker for the car is ~$70 a piece. Both have a one year warranty, but damn, Im already tired of getting under there and swapping it every time it rains.
also if i get the bosch one from ws6store do i need to change anything or is it just plug and go? i need to know soon because im about to drive several thousand miles and i have a sensor out... it says its code number is 13111 and my tuner tells me the error code is 1311 so i guess it's the right sensor?
Well if you have a sensor out the error code will be a P0131 or a p0141, or something close. The 13111 is the part number for the Bosch sensor. Autozone carries them, the price fluctuates a little based on the neighborhood you are in, but they are direct plug ins. They are OEM for an LS1 Vette.
Your going to need some zip ties to round up the extra length on the wires too.

no ****, thats what i was just thinking. the 13111's for me at autozone are 75 bux. i just put my rears in my fronts and they have been working for about 2 months now. (knocks on wood).

Verdad Gallardo yep, the Bosch 13111 is a corvette rear sensor, so the wiring is longer than the F-body front ones. also the 13111 has a stronger heating element as it is designed to be further back the exhaust stream, so when these are used as front ones in and F-body, not only do they heat up faster and stay hotter, they eleminate the need to have extentions.

Dood, these things are under warranty when you buy them, I hope your not paying for them over and over again. SPEED INC. sells the rear o2 simulators that you guys need. $100 for both.

front and rear sensors are exactly the same, the vette are also pretty much the same, just longer. ive used stock ones and gone through some deep *** water and never had a problem. Jason, If you want, you can have my rear 02's, I gotta mail off the cam to you and I can stick them in the same box and see if that doesnt work for you.
