blinking ses light?

blinking ses light?

It starts blinking at around 2700- 3000rpm.I had installed ls6 intake and 3.73 a while back.

Do not drive it. Flashing MIL indicates something is causing damage to catalytic converter and possibly engine. Get that fixed immediately.

im 100% sure that means you have a miss fire go by advanced auto parts and have them scan it its free. and it will tell you what cylinder it is. its no big deal probly just need new plugs or wires

Usually it's a misfire - should be a code stored in the PCM.

mine blinked when the rain killed my O2 sensors. the car would surge like crazy. i got it home and replaced the O2s. problem solved!

Blinking is an indication that a catastrophic failure could occur. Have it looked at immediately.

Go get it looked at by a real mechanic, scanning for codes is only a step and AZ cannot help you. 4 things can cause misfires/running rough:
1. Air
2. Fuel
3. Spark
4. Mechanical

with lots of options at every step to rule out.

It's a process to diagnose, either dig in or pay someone to do it.

no offense dude but you shouldnt give people advice like that. misfires can be caused by improper fuel delivery too. the code scanners wont tell you whats wrong with the car, it gives hints at areas to check to find out whats wrong. plugs and wires also wear individually and/or gradually for the most part and will not cause a flashing MIL light.

to the OP: please do not drive the car unless you absolutely have to. you may cause damage to your cats and possibly your engine too. get the car to a professional technician so it can be diagnosed and repaired properly.
