The Blinking SES light
Well, when the car starts it idles and runs fine, but then as I get down the street, maybe a mile or two, all power is lost and it feels like it is missing horribly. I have cleaned the maf to no avail, also unplugged it but throttle response is horrible. Sputters and jerks and so on.
Do you think this can be an 02 problem, I've got extras, does it reed from the o2's in speed density? All plugs and wires checked.
My question is, that it runs with out a problem at first then it craps out. The only way I've been fixing it, is by restarting it.
Any Ideas?

Could be an O2, could also be plugs, wires, or an intake leak (among others)...but as said above, we need codes stored to help you diagnose further. Also, if you have a way to monitor the misfires to see which cylinders it is, this can be very helpful as well.

I need to get a scan tool, worried about driving it to autozone, about 8 miles away.
I did remove the air and EGR a while back, 3-4 months ago, but this just recently happened.
Would it be plugs or wires if it always runs fine until 5 minutes after. Guessing when it enters closed loop.

Well, just put some MSD wires on and it still misses. Need to swap the O2's but I have been too busy. Damn, people calling in sick every day, jury duty, and so forth. It does it about a minute into it, then when I kill it and restart it, it is fine again until about a minute later. I also unplugged the MAF and it ran like total ***.
Does it register the O2's if you are in Speed Density on these cars with the MAF unplugged?
