I did all of mine from the top. I took off the AIR tubes, and I took off the coil packs for the front three plugs on the passenger side. That gave me enough room to reach in there. I tried to get # 8 from the bottom and that did not work for me.

thats how i did it and its a pain but with time and patience its nothing impossable

haha perform mods lik removing the whole ac system and air injection crap! 30 min plug changes!

I only removed the air tubes from the exhaust manifolds and the farthest back left coil pack.
