fuel gauge

So I had about 3/4 of a tank in my car and drove about three hours on it but yet my gauge is still reading full. Something has to be replaced here, but what?

the float might just be stuck, see what happens when ya fill it back up

Mine does is also all the damn time! Sometimes I just turn it off and back on again and it goes down.

I tried that, it didn't work. I'm going to try a couple of different things to see if anything works.......

So filling up the tank didn't help any, I guess it might be the sending unit?
