who told you that? to verify, get some starting fluid and during idle spray the base of intake manifold and if you hear idle changing its a leak... gaskets are cheap if thats the problem, check for cracks too...
You could verify this diagnosis by spraying intake/carb cleaner around the intake ports and listen for an RPM change. This doenst always work.

sometimes the engine will melt these down where they are of no use . also people who sell intake manifolds remove them or reuse them .
they should not be cost much . try to hit up fast , they are about 40 or use to be . i have seen on some intakes were folks have used the black rtv gasket maker but have not run it myself . folks go to many lenghts to save cost .
though if you have to spend a lot you might be better off buying a used intake and just use the gaskets off of it and then sell it .

um its a little gaskets and they are only supose to be 25 bucks i found them on a few sites already but tomarow i am takin my car to get a second opinion before i rip the bitch apartand it is hard to spray sumthing into the intake to change the idle cus as it idles it is constantly changing so that wont really help me much or i would def try it if it is not that then what the heck would you all think it is

i took it to the motor shop that put my motor in and they san it and did a bunch of stuff my throttle position sensor is out so its like hundred bucks it will be fixed tomarow
