Default Car just sitting for months with dead battery. Anything I should worry about?

My battery has been dead for a while now. Back around Thanksgiving I tried to charge it up and it didn't quite hold it. So, I used the booster, started it up, took it for a 10 minute drive, then put it back under cover and haven't started it since. My concern is whether or not it's alright to leave it just sitting like that with a dead battery. Could there be a possibility of it leaking or something? Eventually I'll get a new one, but no reason to at the moment since it's never driven. Anything that I should do that I'm not doing?

I agree, just take it out and dont worry about it. It'll take 2 mins and save you who knows how much time cleaning if that thing did leak.

The problem is, I'm not home to do it. I would have to have one of my fam members do it for me. I just don't want them messing something up somehow. I guess that's a small chance of doing so, but still a chance. I guess I'll just give them a shout tomorrow and have them take it out to play it safe, though.
