Default Bad Hesitation/bogging at slight throttle

this happens in all gears during slight acceleration. around 15-35% throttle. shakes the whole motor, and it feels like its about to rip itself out of the car. doesnt happen at WOT. ses is on starts up fine. idles very rough and i smell a lot of gas while im driving. soooo this is an update. i just replaced all the plugs and it seems to be a little better at slight throttle, but it still bogs at a certain point around 2k...the ses light is on..guna run the code tomorrow.

recent plugs/wires - less than 2miles
new fuel filter less than 4k

is this the 02 sensors?

bad cats? i have slp high flow blah blah but theyre half way empty from being scraped so much

mods:
224r cam
ls6 heads
pp tb
slp longtubes
catted y
tune

My car does the same damn thing, except I'm not cammed. If I go partial throttle anywhere in the 1400rpm range, the car just lugs along. I don't know what it is.

i had the same problem as you! except mine did this when ever the engine was under load at low rpm!! it turned out i had a broken #4 spark plug!! my computer only told me once i had a #4 misfire, and the ses light came on for lik 10 seconds and turned back off by its self so you may not throw any codes!

i think i discovered the problem....drivers side plugs were only screwed in finger tight. must have loosened up since i replaced them...and all 4 blackened and the threads were covered in oil. ive heard this is a bad bad sign.

pulled the passenger side, pretty clean, brownish color.

what is the oil on the plug threads a symptom of??

from what i have heard, and known. oil on the threads isnt bad. but if you have oil further past the threads. like the tip where its suppose to spark. then thats bad.

did you have any ticking noises while the spark plugs where lose?

im thinkin the oil could be pcv related! try to eliminate the simple problems before considering the major stuff like the rings or valve stem seals! do you remember seeing smoke from the exhaust?
