some catch cans (like mine) would not catch all the oil u think it should! thats why i upgraded to the SMH pcv mod along with 2 inline filters! and now it catches all kinds of things in there! all im saying is just change the plugs and if the problem comes back then theres something major!

hmmmm...wonder why your plugs fouled. what kind are you using?

i guess what we can do now is. get new plugs. the ngk ones and myswell change your pcv valve..cause of the oil on threads..and see what happens. make sure plugs are tightend. but dont strip a thread. and also make sure wires are on all the way.

nevermind bout the pcv. i read you had a catch can.

My car does the same thing. I'm pretty sure it's the o2 sensor, because I know that the drivers side o2 sensor is bad anyways. My spark plug on the #1 cylinder was also loose, and may have helped cause the problem. But, the weird thing is, is that it usually only does it for a couple days after I've had the cutout uncapped. If I haven't had the cutout uncapped for a while, it's fine and never bogs or stumbles.

OBDI has a harder time adjusting to the differnet mods performed so you have to disconnect the battery to reset it! same goes for the OBDII

just hopefully your car will throw a code for something! OBDII systems are reallly good at sensing the problems!

So, everytime I uncap the cutout, then cap it again, I have to unplug the battery for a little bit to reset it?

Well, I have to get the o2 sensor anyways, I know it's bad. I just wasn't sure if that's what was causing the hesitation or not. A new o2 sensor is only $37 on sparkplugs.com anyways, so it's not like it's going to kill me on price.

A good sign it was an o2 was that it ran fine at WOT when the computer doesn't use the o2 sensor inputs. Sounds like you should be good to go.
