new ceraminc breaks sqeaking.. normal?
i had horrible shuttering and such. this fixed it. usually i drive with music. but last couple days i was just enjoying listening to the car itself. when i can faintlyer hear a casual sqeaking noise when i start to lightly put on the breaks.
im assuming this is somewhat normal just figured i would ask.

When these brakes are changed, they need to be lubricated and the hardware needs to be replaced.
In addition to lubricating the back of the pads/shims where the piston and caliper contact the pads, lubrication is also required at all of the contact points where the pads touch the hardware/clips. (Lubricate the channels bent in to the hardware and the edges of the pads where they contact the hardware.)
If your old brakes were making noise before, they may have been masking noise from something else. When I changed my brakes recently, I still had a squeak, which ended up being bad hubs/bearings in the front.

Ive heard that bendix brakes solves a lot of this..
But......I also made sure the backside of the pads were greased properly and shims installed......I don't care for unnecessary brake noise.

and you can hear the squeak change tone pulsing. but the breaking itself is smooth and without issue.
i changed pads and rotors. i will say this. at first i was trying to loosen the wrong bolts. the ones that seem to keep turning endlessly lol. kind of hard to explain without taking a picture.
