slow turn signals
slow turn signals i just bought a 99 t/a yester day and i though i had burnt out signal light but they both work, but they only signal like every other second slow as ****. what could be the problem? bad flasher?
Bad flasher. Its an old mechanical style and does burn out. Inexpensive part - but hard to find.
Its tucked over the side of one of the black supports under the dash after you take off the cover over the bottom of the steering column. The only thing you will be able to see is the backside of the clip holding the flasher and the wires going down the back side of the support. (There are some good posts on the site with pics.)
