AC drain tube?
I get a small puddle of water under the foot brake after a heavy rain.
is there a body plug near the foot brake?
I don't think it's the heater core because I don't smell any coolant.
I rarely use the AC.
I've searched this issuse without a resolution.
Thanks
1. hood cable gromet. well I covered that with glue it was kindof hard to reach in there so I used alot of glue.
2.heater core leaking. well it only on the driver side.
3.AC drain tube clogged. same as above.
the weather striping looks in good shape.
is there a body plug in this area?
any sugestions would be good.
guess I'll have to crawl under the dash while some sparys water on the windsheild.
Thanks post #2 for image
is this the AC drain?
if yes I guess I'll have to fab up a coat hanger to poke at it Da it's tight in there.
Thanks

I can't quite make out what the drain hose looks like in the other picture.
I just read this in the Tip of the Month at the back of the November issue of Super Chevy., it talks about wet floors on the drivers side in late model Camaros and Firebirds....
"There is a drain line that is supposed to direct water to the outside of the car. If enough debris enters the vents just forward of the windshield on the outside, it will work it's way down the evaporator case and eventually plug the drain line. It's just a matter of time.
But it's a simple task to remove the blower motor out of the evap case and claen the drain. You don't have to be a plumber to accomplish this and, Drano won't work! If you have a wet floor, look for this quick fix to dry up your F-body."
Has anyone ever tried this by removing the blower motor? I've seen so much mention of a drain tube with our cars....but have seen no evidence of such a thing.
