i did spark plugs and wires and i didn't think it was quite as bad as everyone says... i mean it wasn't the easiest, nor the funniest spark plug change... but just take your time...
if you want extra clearance i think people take off there coil packs, but i didn't bother with that.
o and yea prepare to have your arms scratched up pretty good... there's some nice sharp *** pieces of plastic or whatever under there near the back plugs...
helps.

On the Seafoam, I had the same problem, engine would die as soon as I unhooked the booster line. I used a pair of vice grips to pinch the line closed, then backed them off to allow just a little opening in the line and fed the seafoam in that way. I used two little pieces of wood to pad the jaws of the vise grips so they would not damage the booster line.

ok so i did it and it worked.. i think. before the car cut off it was smoking pretty good, but after i started it again there was like nothing and it didn't spit out that much. was it really that clean? i just found it odd that it smoked a lot while still running, but not after it soaked the heads.

you can use the PCV line too.
whenever i did seafoam, when i disconnected the booster line the car sounded cammed. so maybe you have a leak somewhere else and the MAP will kill the car cause of the dramatic loss of manifold pressure.
