Rear Hatch hinge is driving me nuts!!!!
Do I need a new hinge? or will some kinda grease help me out?
Try SuperLube with their precision oiler. (Menard's sells them around where I live and you can also google it.) Not exactly sure about the hatch hinges, but GM recommends it for door hinges and it works great. I used it on my doors and the last application has lasted up to 2 years at this point.

Anybody else have any opinions?
If you want to put grease on a rubber/plastic to metal contact point, I'd go with some White Lithium grease. Get the stuff that comes in a spray can - its more useful on the car. The White Lithium spray is also good for lubricating springs, squeaky clutch pedals, hood latches, etc.
