I've seen it do some pretty good work.. did it on a 95 blazer and we actually got chunks of carbon and crap comin out the exhaust. It has helped my truck get better MPG which is something that I can actually compute..

but its used as a treatment not for an engine that runs good already.

I've done it. It wasn't nearly as effective as just cleaning the MAF. I had significant pinging issues.

I am about to do it this Saturday. We will see what happens. I am going to do the FULL treatment. Also going to clean the MAF and some other things. Trying to get it all cleaned up before I get CMS to install some headers...
I'll post the story here after the weekend.

Did the Full treatment on all the Vehicles from the company I work for. Man did you want to see a smoke show of what, got my helpers to do it at the same time in three other different cars. Know that I think about I should have filmed it. Did the Full treatment to all 22 Vehicles. Bought the Seafoam in Gallons.

I noticed a difference in the smoothness of idling in my mom's van, but no noticeable difference in the LS1.

Yeah, I was actually surprised to see that.

Based on the poll results, I don't think I'm going to Seafoam the top end. There seems to be little benefit to doing so, at least if you have an otherwise well-running engine, which I do. And given my past history of trying to improve the performance of my cars, if I did Seafoam, I would end up being #3 of people whose engines exploded.

How many miles were on this '95 Blazer? How many miles were on your truck when you first did this? The reason I ask is because I really think this would benefit my truck, as it gets 13 mpg (city or highway, doesn't matter) and has some idling issues. However, after nearly 200K miles, my concern is that all that carbon and crap is plugging some hole; I don't want to run seafoam through just to cause oil leaks in the truck, as a new engine isn't in the budget quite yet.

PS - Your TA is badass looking.

Back in october i did a full treatment with the gas, oil, and pouring in the brake booster. There wasn't too much smoke after i started it up. I had let it run for about 15mins then went to go take it for a drive and the car kept stalling out till i got outa the neighborhood and was able to get on it. Thats when the smoke show really started. My idle was alot smoother and i picked up a lil extra gas mileage.

i did the full seafoam treatment to my 98 t/a with 95000mi a few days ago. it made quite the smoke show. the only thing i noticed was a smoother idle. im going to change my oil today and see what that looks like.

I put it in the intake on my 92 Chevy p/u with 177k. Not as much smoke as I wanted to see, but I think it does run a little better. Will put it in the gas tank and oil change next time around.
