If you have a really filthy fuel filter...
...how much better will your gas mileage be after installing a new one?
I just got my car, so I plan on changing the filter. I am just trying to see what significant changes (if any) that people noticed with a new filter.

replacing fuel filter regularly will extend the life of your fuel pump. The more clogged it gets, the harder it is to pump fuel through the filter which could lead to premature fuel pump failure. When the fuel pump goes you have to drop the whole rear end to get to it. Anyways, it can help engine run better
