Default Maintenince stuff?

what all do you have to do to keep your f body in mint condition besides changing just the engine oil? what about the rear end and tranny fluids, how often do you have to chagne them and what is a good web sight to show you how to change them? thanx alot.

The owners manual has a good break down of what needs to be done and when. If you don't have one, pick up a repair book at the local parts store for your car.

Depends on what you do with your car IMO my oil gets changed every 2000 miles my diff and tranny the beginning of every race season.

I would for sure change the differential/ rearend fluid. That way you know that it's been done.

I would also change the fuel filter.

You could look into changing the tranny fluid but honestly I am not an expert on that stuff, like when it should be done.

Definitely change the transmission fluid and fuel filter. I changed my differential fluid at 35K and it looked real clean, so it may have been a waste. However, the owners manual says to change it every 7500!!

Also while according to the book your plugs are ok to 100,000 miles, I'd change the plugs to TR55's while I was doing the rest of the stuff.

I think the standard interval for the fuel filter is 30k miles, but I usually do mine every 12,000 miles or once a year. They're relatively cheap and easy to replace (as long as you don't mind some fuel spilling on you ) so its worth it IMO.
