Default no signal light??

my drivers side signal light is totally out? when you turn the lights on the bulb turns on(kinda dim) but when you turn the signal it doesnt do anything. on the inside of the car the marker turns green and just stays there? i replaced the bulb in it what else could it possibly be?

my car is a 98 trans-am

i have the same exact problem. I think its my bulb socket, its burnt out cause water got in during the winter. So its all caroded (check spelling). I have all kinds of problems with my lights, like my brake lights wont go on but the one on the wing does. I know they work cause they light up. Im going to just end up dropping it of at the dealer and have them charge me an arm and a leg. I just dont like messing with electrical stuff

Exclamation

This thread had nothing to do with:

Generation III External Engine
LS1 | LS6 | Bolt-Ons | Intakes | Exhaust | Ignition | Accesories

...so I moved it here where it belongs:

General Maintenance & Repairs
Leaks | Squeaks | Clunks | Rattles | Grinds

In the future please post in the correct section.

Thanks,
Craig.

Check out every other bulb there is that might be causing trouble. They guy who painted my car had installed the wrong kind of bulb when he put my car back together and that was causing problems with the turning signals.
