Default Throttle sticking

After I had my TB port/polished it sticks. So I was told to adjust the idle screw, or something like that, they said it was on the passengers side of the TB. How exactly do you do this and what kind of tools do you need to do it?

Throttle blade probably isn't centered in the throttle body. Loosen the two screws slightly and adjust until it doesn't scrape anymore.

There are two torx screws that hold the throttle blade on the shaft. Slightly loosen them and center the blade in the bore by actuating the throttle until there's no interference, then tighten those screws back up. Blue loctite on those threads is a good idea too.

I had this same sticking on my ported TB. I took it off to clean it up. While I had it out, I adjusted the blade by taking the screws out and letting the throttle snap shut a few times. Was still sticking so I turned the adjustment screw on the side a tiny bit at a time until the sticking stopped but also made sure the blade was still fully closed. The I put some blue locktite on the screws and reinstalled them.

Now it snaps shut and opens smoothly with no more sticking.

I did this and it still got stuck so I chamfered the edges of the TB blade with sandpaper and that fixed it for me.

I used K.I.S.S. because I didnt want to be buying a new TB after I accidentally took off too much material or something.

Thankfully, just turning the screw a little fixed the sticking

you can use a green scratchy to do same (Scothbrite),,wont remove material but if there is some gunk on there,,it will get rid of it....it is most likly the mentioned TB blade being off centered
It could also be your TB cable in need of some adjustment to make it pull without any slack. If there is slack, you will feel the sensation of being stuck, and suddenly opening up,,when in reality, your foot is pressing, but nothing is happening until the cable starts to pull after the slack has been used. These are only different scenarios and ideas to try. Also, be sure the spring area has no binding on the ends of the spring,,,sometimes they can get out of place during reassembly
