Default clutch swap with longtube headers

now I am a ls1 newbie however i want to install longtubes on the 99 ws6 I am buying after they are installed does the starter need to come off to change the clutch if so does the passenger side header need to be removed sorry for the ignorance but i never owned a ls1 thanks
