my ac delco plugs were pre gapped.. i checked them, and they were all spot on

Did you buy the car new? I would think someone changed the plugs since there not ac delco plugs.
actually the stock plugs are cold and the ngk tr55 are hot plugs! so u will gain some power with the hot plugs if your motor is nearly stock. yea im pretty sure the owner b4 me never changed the plugs, they were the stock ones dude
