Lets talk motor oils.

I have an 02 ls1 w/ torquer v3 cam, and a wet nitrous kit now. Rev to about 6800, having some oil burning problems.

What should I try for oil next? Live in southeast michigan so you got an idea of temp ranges.

Would like a good oil that is less than 5$ a quart.

wht r u useing now? have u tried castrol-german, royal purple, or mobil 1?

orielly right now has 6 qts of fully synthetic valvoline for $9 with a mail in rebate. thats hard to pass up. =)

ended up going with mobil 1 0w40 5.5 quarts + mobil 1 filter, how's that sound?

hav u tried using a catch can??? i am so surprised at all the people out there without catch cans, if i showed people what collects in my catch can that would be going into the motor, people would freak out!
