3rd gen wheel in 4th gen

So I purchased one... IMHO, looks AWESOME!

Problem is... it is rubbing up against the column. Has anyone else done this? Curious as to what adapter I might need or if I will just need to dremel down the column.

I would have done a Grant or Momo. I'm sooooooo thinking about losing the ugly, huge stocker.

Meh.... I honestly think most of the aftermarket wheels look a little too ricer for me. The picture doesn't do it justice... it looks like it was OEM.

Like I said though, has a few bugs to work out...

OK... it also appears to be rubbing on the lock plate

Is there any way to "extend" the shaft? It seems to be about 2 cm or so short.

One nice thing about the 98 wheel, it isn't quite so huge looking since it doesn't have the radio buttons on it.

So do you have to deal with the airbag light on all the time now?

98s had em on Trans Ams?

You should see how much easier you can see the gauges now too though
