Default Air pump removal

I had my air pump programed out. I started to remove all the air pipes. Do I need to do anything to the solenoid on the driver side that the air pipes had been plug to? I also notice that there are two small tubes connected to the solenoid.

Default Air pump removal

Here is a pic of what I'm talking about. It's that little pipe on top of the solenoid

i removed the solenoid and vaccuum lines completely. there should be a vaccuum line that run from the solenoid to a vaccuum T-fitting on the back of the intake. i removed the line and put a cap on the T

How do you remove the solenoid? I tried today. I see there is one nut on the side holding it I removed it but there must be another one on the back that I can not see.

I guess its just me, but when I removed my AIR system, insetad of caping off the stray vacumm line, I instead removed the 'T', and extra line. Then plugging the now open vacumm line directly into the intake.

No caps, no T's, no stray lines - a direct clean fit.

I could really use some more info here. Can you take any pics? I'm going to remove my air pump soon, and want to make sure that I've got it all worked out before I start. Thanks!!

Once you get back in there, you'll see what I'm talking about. Real easy to do...pop the vaccum like off of the 't' (keeping the little boot on the line) then plug that line w/boot into the intake manifold....and wola, factory like design.
