Thumbs down Weird Overheating

so my 00 trans am always is right before 210..today i idled for a bit with the a/c on ..while i was driving i looked at the temp and it was at like 230..i went home shut it off and the fans ran for about 10 min. after cooled down for a while i drove it again and now its fine..i checked the coolant and its fine..stuck T-stat?? PLEASE HELP THANKS

Crud in the fins I bet, the A/C just dumps more heat
onto the stack that is already "airflow challenged".

How many miles on the system? Very well could be a stuck t-stat.

You may want to keep a close eye on it and possibly go ahead and change the t-stat and flush the coolant.
