1. Converter lockup solenoid not disengaging
or
2. Vacuum leak
or
3. Bad IAC
or
4. Intermittent ignition failure
or
120 other possible causes including a butterfly farting in China....

You need to get a scan. Seriously. It could be one of so many different things, it would take a long time to figure out without seeing the data the computer sees.

I kind of have the same issue i think.Right before i come to a stop, the car wants to lurch forward a tiny bit.It feels like the tranny just downshifting itself out of OD to 1st,but I'm not sure.Maybe that's what you're feeling.

Alright i replaced the fuel filter, it was very old and dirty. Cleaned the MAF and throttle body. But it still is doing the same thing. Could the a/c engaging and disengaging cause this to happen? It only happens at a stop. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well i took off the IAC and cleaned it, it was extremely dirty. The problem seemed to have stopped. But its still there just not as often. How can u tell if the IAC is bad? Would it be bad to spray cleaner in the hole where the IAC goes in? Could bad plugs and wires also cause the car to do this? Any help or suggestions please!!!

Any ideas? I replaced the IAC and it still seems to be doing it. It only happens at idle, besides that it runs just fine. Also my A/C doesnt work, but with it on at a stop it smells like burnt oil? Anybody know why. Since the a\c doesnt work would it hurt to just take the belt off??
