QTP electric cutout problems
enyone ever had a problem with the valve not opening and closing after about an hour...it's like it locks up or something...i am about positive i wired everything right, and the switch still works right too.....but it won't close back, when i trun the car off(leaving the key in the on position), get under the car, and flip the switch back and forth, i can here the motor trying to move the valve it sounds like, but it doesnt move....what is goin on here???

The screws that keep the motor drive gear insync with the valve drive probably came loose so now when the motor gear spins it is not in proximity to the gear on the valve, thus it doesn't move.
QTP will fix it right up for you. Call up Barry and he'll get you squared away

A guy I know around here has it and he has problems with his closing sometimes and doesnt know what the problem. I'll tell him to look into this thread.

mine doesnt work unless the engine is running either but it did that since new so i didnt really think anything of it

the carappy thing is that i already sent the cutout back once before for about the same problem, they were awesome customer service, and took it back, seemed to work better and last longer....but its still up to the same ole tricks......
before, it'd go out in like 5 min......
now it went out after having no problems out of it for like 5 days...WOO HOO....
