Default SLP lid

I did a little searching and didnt quite find what i was looking for. so a quick question...I have a 99 WS6, would the SLP lid be any better than my stock lid? i read where many people only suggest the lid and to skip the smooth bellows so is the lid worth it? Thanks

I have the lid and bellows. The lid is the only thing that will add HP. Bellow looks better than the accordion though.

I just bought the slp lid for my ws6 last week, when I got it in the mail I compared them, couldn't believe how restrictive the stock WS.6 lid was, what a joke! My car definitely pulls a little harder with the SLP Lid. First two pics are of the stock lid, the last two are of the SLP Lid.

Agreed. Lots of controversy over the SLP fit, but mine fit like a glove. Noticeably better breathing at higher RPMs too. As with all lids.

It's a tough fit on the MAF, so some people whine about that ... you gotta work it, but it fits great once on.

I have the old TSP lid on my A4 and SLP lid on my M6, and I really like the SLP lid. It's a quality piece made out of a much better grade of plastic.

Definitely recommended.

What about the Volant intakes? Are they any better for the Xtra cost?

Alright I know I am not the orginal poster but maybe you could help me out. I am military and stuck in hawaii so there is no place to buy parts over here. I need a new lid that fits my 85mm maf. Would also like the bellows since the stock piece is all sorts of kinked up.

So I need a lid and bellows with a shipping price to 96786. Help me out here and you will have faithful customer.
