Pacesetter Lt Hitting Driver Side K I Know This Is Old But My Lt And Y Are Hitting Under The Driver Side Ive Put On The Mufflex Piece And It Helped For A Little Bit But Then Went Back To Banging Again Any Help Please.

Try banging down a little on the top side of the y-pipe where it hits the floordoard and it will go away. That is how it is on the SS and have not had any problems whatsoever!

Poly Motor Mounts is the only real way to fix this. The real problem is caused by the torquing of the motor. Putting exhaust hangers on essentially makes your exhaust system another motor mount. Go straight to the source and replace the mounts.

Agreed, this is the only cure I found. I tried 3 different Y pipes and spent alot of time adjusting and prying on them but it always came back until I swapped out the mounts.

I took off the y and used blocks of wood and a floor jack to make an indention in mine. Put all the weight on the jack and it made a perfect fit, no more banging. And my BBK flange was literally wedged against the floor board, couldnt even put a peice of paper between them. Now i got about 2 inches.
