Motor Mount write-up
Supplies:
Part cleaner fluid(or any other flammable/corrosive liquid)
Flat head screw driver
Hammer
Ignition source
And a stair
-First I let the whole clamshell soak for about 20 minutes. Long enough to let me go up to autozone for paint.
-I then placed the clamshell on the ground and with a torch lit it on fire. Im sure you could use gas just the same.
-I then took the clamshell and put one part against the stair and hammered the flat head into the other side. I hit along the edge and the stair gave me a firm base instead of tring to hold it. On one I had to flip it and do the other side.
And that was it. They both popped open with ease. Like I said 5 minutes. It left some lead over residue of the rubber bad. With alittle stripping from a drill and some more buring it was brought down to bare metal. I hope this helps people in the future

Also - anyone have a link to a vendor that sells poly motor mounts?

I just drilled out the rivets and used a propane torch to heat up the areas where the rubber is bonded to the metal. A couple minutes of that and it would practically fall apart; no force was needed.
Do you think I should trust them with this job? (maybe I'll have them just do the drivers side and do the pass on my own)....

Hopefully I'll have it out today since I had to order a Deep Well bolt extractor.
