Default vr velocity stack

does the vr velocity stack work or not? is it worth the 49 bucks, they say it can increase 22hp in the 5.3l truck engines gm has, tybrne has it for 49.99 im thinking about ordering it. what do u guys think

It increases velocity, but reduces flow. Reducing flow = bad!

You want to flow as much air into the intake as possible, not as fast as possible.

Just like the "Tornado" or whatever it was called, it is BS.

all it accomplishes is covers the idle and pcv inlets in the tb mouth.. you can do this yourself with some epoxy putty, sandpaper and a drill and not decrease the size of the tb opening overall.

i really do...
but my question is have any of you seen dyno results????
i was thinking the same thing as you till i looked closer at the design....
the smallest opening in the tb stock is still the smallest part after the part....
so how can it be a restriction???
