Default Headers came in.. take a look

Anything look off/weird/out of place? They look good to me... can't wait to put them on. I thought it'd be a buy and install sort of thing. I just invested another $250 in parts to install these .... CAN'T WAIT. Any feedback?

Collector angle on the driver's side. Notch both sides of K and you have the best $200 bang for the buck out there.

haha, thanks man! Yes, i didn't think it i'd need to spend that much on the installation accessories. But i ended up buying 02 extensions, stage 8 bolts, new GM gaskets, prothane motor and tranny mount. wires/plugs, flowmaster merge collector, two dmh cutouts... there could be more. I hate LS1's... I was never this trigger-happy with buying parts with any other car!

Yes. Basically the seams. I needed extensions but none of that other stuff you have listed there.

Yea, i hope thats as far as the list goes! This is what i was thinking, and tell me if this sounds right... This is how my setup will look like:

headers -> 3" y-pipe-> 3"in to 4"out Flowmaster merge collector (reduced back down to 3") -> 3" I-pipe -> 3" Dmh cutout -> My GMMG's.

Two questions: i'll have a shop fab up a y-pipe up for me, is there any special instructions i need to tell them?

and, should my cutouts be that far back on the I-pipe? My gmmg's flow well enough. My priority is sound. I want to fly down a narrow street and set off car alarms every now n then. So should i put it up passed the headers(obnoxious?)? Or keep them on I-pipe?

Thanks fellas

Maybe I'm seeing things but they look like they have extra header bolt holes.
Some of the holes appear to be much bigger than the others.

Do you have them on the I-pipe or right after the header?

I have a single cutout at the end of the 4" merge before it goes back to the stock muffler.

The small pipes end up breaking off, then you have to remove the header and have it welded shut. Happened to me with my first set. I didn't take any chances and had the connections cutoff/welded shut this time.
