Search for Vic Jr. You'll find that it suits mostly cars setup for power in the upper revs.

I don't have any personal experience with an intake like this, but unless your motor is really radical, don't do it. Are you stock displacement? What all have you already done?

I have it w/ an intakeelbow(Aaron's) and the stock TB. Looks great, but it's for 3500-7500 rpm I thought my 4K stall would take care of the low rpm power loss. It's not tuned yet and I'm still work some electrical bugs out, but it acts like I have done nothing to it and I added a 228R cam while I had the motor apart. I'm hoping the tune takes care of it, but still not sure if it was worth the hastle to install when I had an LS6 sitting there I could have used. Hope this helps some.

When I was talking about hastle I mean, notching the hood and cowl so the elbow bolts up, then getting it water tite again. Hooking the MAP sensor up; I ended up running a hose from the side port on the intake to the port on the MAP. It really depends on you. If it's a show car or radical sb then definatly, but if you good usable power for the street then go LS6 or LSX.

just stick to a ls6,
u have no need for a vic. jr.
unless your motor has a big cam and over 370ci with good flowing heads and more than 10:1 scr
u dont need it.

Or unless you have a cam sped for the vic jr. Cant just throw a MS3 in there and call it good, the valve timing events are different.

OP are you talking about the Vic Jr or the new LS1 Pro flo intake from SEMA?

he called it a "spider" so that means single plane vic jr.

Oh yep missed that, sorry my mistake.

Honestly Id wait to see what the new edelbrock intake makes, if it performs as well as its supposed to and sells for the price it supposed to fast is finally going to have some competition.
