every one i know runs with the ls6 intake, but i realy like the polished look of the weiand. does any one run this intake? for 100 dollars more i would hope it would not just look better, but flow as good if not better than the ls6. Anybody have any info?

i've read similar flow numbers of the weiand to the ls6.

the biggest thing is the heatsoak the wieland gets...you'll increase your intake air temp by 20+ degrees hot lapping or just driving around town...means less power. The composite material found in the stock intakes don't hold the heat very well...they actually sort of repel the heat and don't xfer it to the air inside the manifold like the metal intakes do.
