CFM Ratings from MAF to Intake Manifold Ignoring filter and heads, what is the CFM rating of everything between them? (MAF, Air Bridge, Coupler, Throttle Body, and Intake Manifold)
I'd love to hear results from C5 of F-Body, but specify what you're talking about. (eg LS1 vs LS6 manifold)

Re: CFM Ratings from MAF to Intake Manifold The bottle neck is the throttle body and the throttle body opening in the intake manifold. Actual cfm depends on the presure differential you are measuring it at, but I think it's around 800 cfm using the normal standard. Replacing the TB with a bigger one is easy; the problem is you can't port the intake manifold because the plastic is thin and oddly shaped. The new LSX intake manifold may give us some relief, but at a hefty price.

Re: CFM Ratings from MAF to Intake Manifold they are the same, but the LS6 flows more. The LS6 comes on cars 2001 and up. BTW it doesnt matter if its a C5, ZO6 or an F-body as long as its an 01 or newer
