Default Please critique these headers

Hey guys, please give me your thoughts on these headers, based upon your experience. They are made for an LSx conversion and are not name brand. They are 1 3/4" with 3" collectors.

Thanks

I can't tell you anything experience wise, all I can say, don't buy shorty headers, even it was a name brand.

He may not be able to shoehorn longtubes into his LSx conversion? They look to be fairly well constructed headers. The only thing I really see as problematic is that tri-flange, but it looks to be thick enough of a flange, so it should seal good.

The flange looks really thick. But the overall construction on them looks great. What are you going to be putting the conversion in?

renegade hybrids make porsche v8 swaps.. and since his sig sais 944 ls2 thats what mu money is on.... 4 gen camaro long tube headers are really tight to the block so id pick up a set at a swapmeet and check with them first... but there is a lot to be said about just being able to bolt stuff on and not have to fabricate... you will loose Hp compared to good longtubes though

they look pretty close to mac mid lenght headers. which are known to do very well when cleaned up a little (the primaries and collectors are not the best). But the macs will be damn near the same on a stock internal motor but one there is a cam and heads they start falling back. as long as you keep the car under 500rwhp i do not see any reason to have longtubes built. these should keep you very close to longtubes without the hassle. I would buy them.

Thanks for the great replies, guys. Yes, it's a 944 with an lS2. It currently has F-body headers (1 5/8" short/midlength to a Y pipe and 3" single). What do you guys think of ground clearance and LT's on this setup? Here are some pics of the belly:

That looks nice, I like the flowmaster merger and v-clamp setup. What brand of bullet and v-clamp did you use?

I hope those are prototypes and someone plans on buying a tubing bender.
That one tube closest the screen looks like crap.
