Default Y-pipe for 02 SS Convertible
Anyone know of a good brand Y pipe that fits on a convertible? Everytime i find one, it says not compatible for convertibles.

Really? I didn't know there was a difference, I planned on buying a dynomax ory for manifolds, didn't even think to ask if they convertible was different.

called SLP and a couple of other places and they told me their Y-pipe only fit a coupe? Must be someone on here that replaced their Y-pipe on a convertible? Help anyone.

I emailed WS6store and he said the dynomax and mac fit both. I really don't see why the Y pipe would be different.

Almost all headers and Y-pipe should fit. You will have to get rid of the X brace though. Search around in the convertible section

slightly louder, sometimes you have to dent the x brace from what i read before i put it on, but feels quicker.
