You can't really port the LS6 intake.......but one thing i did do with mine was open up the snout a good bit, if you run your finger down the snout of the intake you will feel a ridge. What I did was sand the material down to those ridges, I'm sure it helped a little but no before or after dynos or anything like that.

I talked to LS2portworks about porting mine and Corey said there is no measurable gain in doing so, about 5rwhp. That small of a gain could be contributed to other factors. Im saving my pennies for a FAST setup, even though I think the price of them is ridiculous.

TPIS can do a 90 mm TB conversion that will add 15-20 Hp and outperform the fast below 6000--- but fall on its face at 6500 compared to the fast

cool fellas! thanks for the info. now i guess i'll be saving up for a FAST 92. It's just so much money to spend and by all means i'm not trying to sound cheap either.

These threads always end up w/ is FAST better or is LS6 better. The answer is neither. We need your mod list including how high you spin the engine. Generally, up to 6300 RPM, a 90mm LS6 is the best for stock cubes with mild to slightly agressive cams. If spinning up to 7000 RPM, big cam, &/or larger than stock cubes, then generally, FAST is the better choice.

So, what sre your specs?

Debating between FAST & LS6 is like arguing about whether or not Blondes or Brunettes are better. You can't lose w/ either, but one or the other is a better fit for your engine.

current setup is 2.5 prc heads with a torquer 3. its still a stock bottom end motor.

Even if you had those + long tubes, I'd say 90mm LS6. Unless you're gonna spin that stock bottom end to 7K...yikes!

I have tested through tuning software, a modified Ls6 intake that is similar to a 90mm LS6 against a ported aluminum Weiand (thread can be found in a "search," I miss-spelled Weiand, so I think it's titled "Ls6 vs ported Weand"). Anyway, the LS6produced 8% then 4% higher airflow through the RPM range, as measured through the MAF. Again, this test was done on my engine, mods in sig, but, shows a good improvement over a ported 85mm Weiand. So, I'd say it's a good bet that the 90mm Ls6 would produce even better airflow against a stock LS6.
