How is the driveability with a speed density tune? I already bought a delphi 85mm
ZO6 mass air but I might be interested in a speed density tune. I am going t ohave the car dyno tuned any way. will speed density make more power or what?

I have read some where that they have already done it on a stock bottom end ls1 with a heads and cam package and it made about 10 more rwhp.

Me too, Speed density. Then you wont have to worry about it at all, no restrictions and no dirty maf wires.

The whole MAF or MAF-less issue is timeless.

A fresh MAF-less tune will be great, but never better than the moment it is finished. The MAF's job is to correct for changes in air temp and density which occur in most climates.

Speed density still uses the IAT sensor for temp, and it uses manifold pressure for air density

If you use the 85mm MAF do you need to get a wire adapter. The 85mm I have is 5 pin and my 02 z/28 has a three pin plug.
