Default Dielectric Grease on GM Wires?

Hello all,
I just got some GMPP plug wires to replace my stockers. Yes, spare me
the MSD/Taylor, et. al lectures Anywho, it looks like on the plug end of the wires, there is a hint of green goo. Would this be dielectric grease? If so, does it appear there is enough?
TIA

Hard to see in the area but you get an idea:

PS: The gmpp parts description says these are 8mm wires. However, they are stamped "7mm" on the gray boot end

I always use a liberal amount of dielectric grease on the spark plug boots. I would use more than what's in the picture. JMHO.

Yeah, I put a huge glob in every boot and all over the spark plug tip.

Nice looking wires. Where did you get them at? Local parts dealer?

I ordered them from my dealer. They were a little cheaper than GMpartsdirect due to free shipping from the GM warehouse.

Thanks for the responses. I will get more grease.
